Oh hey, read this—because I’m not your typical photographer.

First off, my full sessions don’t have a set time limit. We shoot until we get exactly what you need. For most people, this means around 2-4 hours of photography, deep conversations, and possibly an existential crisis about your acting career (kidding… kind of). If you’re an actor, we’ll chat about what you’ve been cast in, what you want to be cast in, and how we can make your headshots scream, “Hire this person immediately!”

Why do my sessions take so long? Three reasons:

1.    You need time to settle in. Nobody walks in camera-ready—well, unless you’re a unicorn. It takes time to shake off the nerves and start giving real, compelling expressions. Jumping straight into the lights five minutes after arrival? Yeah, that’s a recipe for awkward school-picture-day energy.

2.    Connection is everything. A great headshot isn’t just about looking good—it’s about making a connection with the person viewing it. That takes time. A rushed session won’t capture that spark that makes casting directors stop scrolling.

3.    I like to experiment. Backdrops, lighting, moods, storytelling—I love playing with all of it. And if we tried to cram that into one hour, we’d both leave feeling like we ran a marathon.

At the end of the shoot, we’ll sit down and select your images together. I love this part because we get to admire the magic we’ve created. I hate this part because we have to narrow it down, and saying goodbye to amazing shots is painful. But trust me—you don’t want to go home with 300 nearly identical photos and a stress headache. I’m here to guide you, make sure you choose the best shots (not just the most flattering ones), and save you from the horror of endless self-comparison.

And guess what? If we realize we missed something—like a perfect smiling shot—we just turn the lights back on and grab it. No stress, no rush.

At this point, you decide which images you want to buy. Most people choose around 12, especially for platforms like Spotlight, because having a variety of shots is way more useful than just one or two. I don’t do preset packages—just pay for the session and then the images you love. After the shoot, I’ll do some light retouching (think “well-rested” rather than “plastic”) and color grade them to match my signature style. You’ll have your finished shots within 10 working days (or faster if you’re in a hurry).

Bonus: Booking a full session includes a free one-hour top-up shoot within a year—so you can refresh your headshots without paying for another full session. You just cover the cost of the extra images. Oh, and did I mention? Lunch is on me (optional, though). Expect something delicious from a great local spot, plus music to keep the vibes right.
